Personal Statement: I have a Bachelor's in English and Communication from Hope College, and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. In my previous life, I spent two years as youth librarian here in Lafayette, Indiana. As a librarian, I realized I mostly loved dealing with the patrons and the information, which lead me to pursuing a career chance to advising. As a youngest child, I have a handful of adorable nieces and nephews, and live in Lafayette with an equally adorable cat (don't be afraid to ask to see cat/kid pictures. I have plenty!). In my free time, I enjoy reading (hence the previous occupation!), running, and exploring Lafayette/Indiana.
