Hello! I'm Jana Renner, serving as the Lead Academic Advisor within the College of Science at the Indianapolis campus. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University Bloomington, followed by a year teaching Social Studies at a junior/senior high school. My passion for higher education led me to pursue a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Higher Education & Student Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington. For ten years, I served as an academic advisor in the School of Health & Human Sciences at IUPUI, until I embarked on a new adventure supporting Jagathon: IUPUI’s Dance Marathon and the Indiana University Foundation. Now, I'm delighted to return to my roots in academic advising, guiding students toward their academic and personal aspirations. Outside of work, you'll find me relishing moments with my husband, Erik, our son, Carter, and our loyal dog companion, Ari. I'm an avid supporter of IU Basketball and the Indianapolis Colts, indulge in a bit of Fantasy Football, enjoy working on puzzles, and find joy in the pages of a good book.
