Majors: Biology

I am an Academic Advisor for Upper Division Biology students in the College of Science. As a life-long learner, I look forward to guiding students on their pathway in the College of Science.

Originally from Lake county, I have also lived in northern Illinois, and North Carolina.  I am a graduate of Indiana University with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  I also have an M.S. in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.   I have been a Middle School Science Teacher for 12 years, taught high school for 4 years and was involved in adult education for 4 years.  I have also worked with Purdue’s ScienceScape program, which promotes scientific discoveries for rising students in grades 7 and 8.

I have lived in Tippecanoe County for the last 19 years and enjoy all the opportunites Purdue offers. I love to travel and would love to hear about your adventures in travel, too!
