"Purdue’s style of teaching, research and guidance instilled and developed an alternative way of thinking; one that is necessary to succeed in the business world today."

Dr. Cindy Rodneberg’s PhD from the Department of Statistics helped formulate a niche to use her skills as a statistician in the realms of healthcare and business.

After stints at the Indiana Medical Center and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Rodenberg has a 15-years-and-counting career at Proctor and Gamble where she leads a team of statisticians, data managers, clinical scientists and trial managers to grow utilization of robust and innovative clinical, statistical and data management tools in clinical and consumer  research programs.

At P&G, Rodenberg has been a leader in groundbreaking research concerning women’s health.

"I feel my work in Women’s Health and Female Sexual Dysfunction has made the largest impact,” Rodenberg said. “The research that was done provided insightful learning around Female Sexuality and the cultural similarity of the impact of menopause and low testosterone to women’s sexual functioning."

Rodenberg’s recent positions at P&G have required strong leadership. She cited ingredients for successful leadership by "instilling a culture of inclusiveness, recognizing that unique solutions require diversity of ideas and talents, providing those with a passion for growth and development with opportunities to succeed, ensuring strong leadership and technical ability is recognized and rewarded, and demonstrating respect and trust as well as proving empathetic support through application of situational leadership strategies."
