Research technician: we are seeking a new team member with molecular biology skills, at least 1 year of laboratory experience, and a knack for lab organization!  The position is roughly half managerial (purchasing, equipment maintenance, inventory) and half research support.  Unfortunately we cannot sponsor a US work authorization for this position.

 

Postdoctoral fellows: we are seeking a postdoc for structural virology projects.  Applicants must have first-author publications in virology; structural biology experience is optional.  Please send a cover letter/email and CV to metskas AT purdue.edu, as well as contact information for 3 references who can send letters of recommendation.  The cover letter should introduce your background and how it would complement the lab's research goals, and briefly describe what you would be interested in researching for your postdoc.

 

Grad students: the Metskas lab accepts graduate students through Biological Sciences, Chemistry and PULSe.  Please contact us directly to attend a lab meeting, learn more about our group, or arrange a rotation!
