I am an academic advisor in the College of Science for first-year physics students, and I also advise four-year students in mathematics, statistics, and actuarial science. I received an undergraduate degree in astrophysics and history from the University of Michigan, and I hold an M.A. and Ph.D. in the history of science, technology, and medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I live in Indianapolis with my wife, and before I came to Purdue I taught history at Butler University. I love working with students, whether one-on-one or in the classroom, and I am excited to have the opportunity support Boilermakers in their academic and professional development.
