Alisha Myles
Hello! My name is Alisha, and I am an Academic Advisor in the College of Science. I grew up in West Lafayette and am a 3rd generation Purdue alumnus. I also have a Master’s in Special Education from Marian University. Prior to advising I spent time working in Seoul, South Korea and I also taught Special Education in the Indianapolis Public Schools.
I am passionate about public education and supporting students as they grow both academically and personally during transformative years at Purdue and beyond. My advice to new Boilermakers would be to find an exercise/activity you like to reduce stress and give your eyes a break from screens. Both mental and physical health are equally important. Additionally, use the wide range of student clubs here to try something new and make new friends.

In my free time you can mostly find me spending time with my golden retriever, Cody Jackson. I also enjoy watching college basketball, reading, relaxing, being an aunt, spending time in nature, and traveling when I have the opportunity.
