College of Science
Majors: Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science

I am an academic advisor in the College of Science for Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science. I am a native Midwesterner who lived in Texas for many years. Not long ago, my husband, children, and I moved to West Lafayette to be closer to the rest of our family. I value my family and enjoy spending my time with them. My husband and I have four children, one grandchild, and a small dog ironically named Zeus.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Texas Woman’s University with concentrations in sociology and history. I completed my Master’s in Science in Human Services at Purdue Global. I have spent most of my adult life working and volunteering in my community and schools. I am passionate about public education and look forward to helping all students achieve their academic goals.

"Democracy has to be born anew every generation, and education is its midwife."
