Gavin Mauk, Ed.D.

Hello!

I am an Academic Advisor in the College of Science for Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence majors. I have previously served as an Academic Advisor in the College of Engineering, as well as my alma mater, Ball State University. I completed all my degrees at Ball State, including an Ed.D. in Higher Education, an M.A. in Sociology, and a B.S. in Psychological Science and Sociology.

I’ve lived in Indiana my entire life and will talk your ear off about the Hoosier state and its beautiful state parks. I love traveling outside of Indiana as well, including U.S. states and international locations such as Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Europe. I have a long list of future destinations and will ask you all about where you’re from and where you’d like to travel! I also enjoy reading non-fiction, playing Pokémon video games, working out, cooking new recipes, and learning about other cultures.
