I am an academic advisor for the college of science advising, Data Science, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence majors. I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of South Florida. GO BULLS! I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and then moved to Tampa, Florida where I lived for 13 years. I’m still trying to survive these Indiana winters. I love spending time with my husband, a Purdue Doctorate student in the College of Nursing. We have a beautiful daughter and two doggos. We love our church, City of God, and Purdue.
My experience includes working as a case manager in several hospital systems. I have also counseled military Veterans and their families. I spent time in the child welfare system as well. I enjoyed working with these individuals and am blessed to now work in higher education with Purdue students. My hope for my students is to provide support, a comfortable space, for you to ask as many questions as needed, and to see students thrive during their time at Purdue. You matter! BOILER UP!
