I am an Academic Advisor for Upper Division Biology students in the College of Science. A lifelong Purdue Boilermaker, I earned my master's degree in Youth Development and Agricultural Education from Purdue. I did my undergraduate work at Iowa State University and majored in Animal Ecology with a minor in Agricultural Business.
My past experiences include working at zoos and nature centers across the midwest as a Naturalist and Education Specialist. I have a passion for STEM education and most recently was a 4-H Educator with Purdue Extension before I transitioned to Academic Advising.
I love to be outside and doing anything related to nature! I enjoy kayaking, hiking, wildlife photography, and spending time with my family and pets (including my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever)! I also play the flute and piccolo and am a huge fan of the Purdue All-American Marching Band!
Make an appointment with me or stop by my drop in hours (M-F 10-10:30 AM or 3-3:30 PM).
