My advising office is an open, respectful, and supportive environment for all people. I welcome students of all abilities, sexual orientations, genders, races, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds to join in the advising relationship.
I am an advisor in the College of Science and work with students majoring in mathematics, statistics, and/or actuarial science. I also hold responsibilities as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Education in the College of Science. I have an undergraduate degree from Purdue in Food Science. I began my career in 2001 as the Academic Coordinator for the Department of Food Science at Purdue, and enjoyed that position for five years. I then taught Jr./Sr. High School Science for a year and also worked as a laboratory manager at Ivy Tech. I missed academic advising, so in Fall 2008 I began my current position in the College of Science. I truly enjoy my work with undergraduate students. I am passionate about helping students meet their goals, take advantage of all Purdue has to offer, find resources, and receive accurate/updated information.
I live in a historic home on a mini-farm outside of town with my husband and three active daughters.
