Thomas “Curtis” Holmes Jr. is president and chief executive officer of Texert Inc., an early-stage software company. With more than 25 years of experience in the computer software industry, he began his career with AT&T and spent more than a decade with the telecommunications giant, holding positions from being a member of the technical staff to the vice president of the Intelligent Network product group.

He then became president and CEO of MetaSolv Software Inc., where he led its transformation from a single-product, North Americanbased company to a multiproduct firm with customers and operations worldwide. Holmes also has served on the board of directors for Elanti Systems and Tango Networks.

  • 2008-Present: President, CEO, and Director, Texert Inc.
  • 2006 - Received the Dallas Business Journal Tech Titan Fast 50 Award for MetaSolv Revenue Growth
  • 2001 - Named President, COO of MetaSolv Software Inc. (acquired by Oracle Corporation in December 2006)
  • 1999-2000 - Lucent Leadership Excellence Accelerated Development Program
  • 1998 - Synergy in Action Manager’s Excellence Award
  • 1993 - AT&T Operations Systems Business Unit President’s Quality Award
