SBPP ApproachThe SBPP approach is to be the corporate partnership program of choice by exceeding the expectations and meeting the demands of its customers that seek to engage with the College of Science and have access to new ideas and innovation, latest technologies, research, faculty, students, and build long lasting relationships. Finding solutions to complex business needs requires customized strategies and multidisciplinary resources. A key strength of the SBPP is the “cafeteria style” model of assets and services. This model provides corporate customers with flexible, individualized solutions, as well as a good understanding of opportunities and expertise at the College of Science. SBPP Highlights
Ways to Participate in the SBPP The SBPP Director is the point of contact for prospective SBPP customers. The Director will conduct thorough “fact finding” discussions with SBPP customers to obtain a full understanding of needs and assess the availability of resources. Work begins with a Proposal which is a surface level agreement that outlines the customer’s needs, SBPP resources, time frame, and cost. A completed Proposal is the green light for a project or activity to move forward. SBPP customers are assigned a SBPP customer team member who will provide account management services, including regular updates regarding the status of project(s), act as an interface with the appropriate university “assets” to ensure the project stays on course and budget. The terms and scope of the partnerships will determine the options for participation in the SBPP. SBPP partners are provided with flexible options that will maximize the benefits of their investment and support. Options include:
SBPP Mini Tours - a great introduction to Science @ Purdue! SBPP Mini Tours are an excellent way to learn more about the science, research, and people that could help your business!
