College of Science Design and Print Style Guide

Purdue is a world-class university, recognized easily by its name and often by the graphic images that represent the school and its brand. By implementing these standards, we build a level of consistency and unification that is part of our global strategy to increase the value of our best known and most important asset — the Purdue University name.

How to use Purdue logos/mark:

The basic Purdue mark:

The Purdue “signature” logo is the primary identifier for Purdue University and is used more prominently than many of the University’s other marks. The Purdue signature is designed to be used as one unit. Elements of the signature are not to be used separately or combined with other elements. This signature has been specially designed for use by the University and may not be changed in terms of proportion or typeface. The Purdue signature must be reproduced from official artwork and is available in a variety of file types, sized for many different uses.

Only colleges and college-level entities are permitted to have logos and all must be approved by Purdue Marketing Communications. Only approved logos can be printed on University stationary.
