K-12 Outreach

The College of Science K-12 Outreach program was initiated in 1989 to increase interest and achievement in science and mathematics at the pre-college level.

Students and teachers involved in K-12 Outreach activities

We provide K-12 science and mathematics professional development programs for teachers, form long term partnerships with school districts, and present activities for students.

Impact since 1989:

  • Over 3,000 School Visits
  • Over 10,800 Teachers Participating in Activities
  • Over 640,000 Students Participating in Events
  • Continuous Contact with Every High School Science and Mathematics Department Head in Indiana
  • Expended over $12,000,000 for K-12 Science and Mathematics Programs
