This Award is to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to the quality of the Department of Statistics service courses by continuing lecturers, tenured and tenure-track faculty. (Service courses for this are defined as those courses whose majority audience is not statistics or actuarial science students.) The award is given no more often than every two years. (No one can receive it more than once.) The recipient receives a $1000 financial award in an account available for travel and equipment expenditures. |

Award is given to a recipient who serves in a counseling relationship with Purdue students (aiding and supporting students to become the best they may be—“going the extra mile”), based on non-academic counseling activities. Selection by the Purdue chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa.

Nominations are voted on by Advisors and confirmed by the Executive Committee of the Science Student Council. Winner’s name is forwarded to PACADA for consideration of the University Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor award. Member of PACADA for at least 3 years.
