Sangita Angrish (B.S. 2002, computer science) is a master’s student at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.

Randy Canfield (B.S. 1978, biology) recently established the SBGi Institute, LLC to provide training on the newly released IECQ QC080000 Hazardous Substance Process Management technical specification, along with training and consulting for other Quality related subjects like ISO 9000, Six Sigma, and Lean. The IECQ specification provides the only internationally recognized third party certification for companies that must comply with the recently enacted European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives.

Raymond Dagenais (M.S. 1974, physics) is a program development specialist at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, IL, president of the Illinois Science Teachers Association, and a Distinguished Science Alumnus. At the invitation of the U.S. Department of State, he spent a week in Thailand with Ministry of Education officials, university professors, heads of school science departments, school teachers, and university students, lecturing on such topics as strategies and methods of gifted student identification and selection procedures, assessment of student performance, academic standards for science and mathematics, and professional development in science and mathematics.

Elzbieta Gasyna (B.S. 2003, biology) married Phillip T. "Rocky" Scaletta on July 15, 2006. Elzbieta reports that he is a fellow Boilermaker, and they met at Purdue about 5 years ago. They’re now living in Indianapolis, IN.

David L. Hoof (Ph.D. 1974, chemistry) has just had his fifth novel published. Due out in early November, Little Gods is a mystery in which the main character journeys toward discovery not only of long-buried secrets but of himself.

Salvatore Lepore (Ph.D. 1997, chemistry) has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Chemistry at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Lepore's research focuses on the development of new organic chemical reactions and their application to the synthesis of therapeutic compounds, particularly for cancer and AIDS treatments.

Kermit Ross (B.S. 1965, mathematics) is founder and principal consultant of Millennium Marketing, a marketing consultancy serving the telecommunications industry.

Bimal Shah (B.S. 2002, computer science) is a system engineer with Simulex Inc. in West Lafayette, IN. Bimal married Akruti Mehta on June 3, 2006.

Laurence O. Williams (B.S. 1961, chemistry) retired from Lockheed Martin in Orlando Florida in 1999. During his career, he also worked at Thiokol Chemical Corp., Martin Marietta, and The Aerospace Corporation. He has authored 17 technical papers and received 10 patents. He has written two books, and is in the process of writing another.

Richard Yant (B.S. 1977, biology) is a business lawyer with Krasnow Saunders Cornblath, LLP in Chicago.
