Science Alumni NewsCatherine Anthony (B.S. 1997, Biology) and her husband, Bill, welcomed their daughter Abigail Grace into the world on November 18, 2004. Catherine and Bill live in Broken Arrow, OK Kristen Krajewski Gladysz (M.S. 1997, Chemistry) is a research scientist at Lyotropic Therapeutics in Ashland, VA. Kristen and her husband Bill, who is an analytical chemist at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, have a son, three-year-old Shane Thomas Gladysz, and they share their house with three cats. Neil Hentschel (B.S. 1985, Computer Science) and his wife Kristin welcomed son William Evan Hentschel into the world on September 9, 2004. William joins 9-year-old Larissa and 8-year-old twins Elysia and Stephen. Salvatore Lepore (Ph.D. 1997, Chemistry) is an assistant professor of organic chemistry at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. He and his wife, Susan (M.S. 1996, Civil Engineering) recently founded Custom Synthesis Inc. (CSI), specializing in custom chemical compounds. Jo Wimmenauer Meyer (B.S. 1973, Mathematics) has been promoted to Director of Business Analysis and Planning at Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis, IN. Jo joined Roche in 1990 as a senior programmer analyst. Elisabeth Solchik (B.S. 2004, Biology) and Michael Barton were married on October 16, 2004. Elisabeth is pursuing a Master’s degree in journalism and environmental science at Indiana University. Robyn Stephens (B.S. 1981, Chemistry) has been appointed
to the position of internal auditor for BP operations around the world.
