Dorothy Denning (PhD 1975, Computer Science) was honored in February with the prestigious 2004 Harold F. Tipton Award, recognizing lifelong contributions to the improvement of the information security profession, from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 . Dr. Denning is a professor in the Department of Defense Analysis at the Naval Postgraduate School.

James Rowley (B.S. 1987, Mathematics) is Sales Director, Americas, for Zebra Technologies. James and his wife, Margrit, live in Simi Valley, California, and welcomed their second child, Alexander, into the family on January 25.

Gregory Smith (B.S. 1984, Biology - IUPUI) was married on February 5 to Laura Dunivan. They live in Mooresville, Indiana with their four cats.

Marc Szewczyk (B.S. 1996, Computer Science) graduated from Butler University in May 2004, and is now starting his own theater company in Indianapolis. Marc and his wife, Emily, have three sons.
