Dear Potential Diversity Forum Participant,
I would like to invite you to attend the Diversity Forums. The dates and times of the Diversity Forums for 2007-2008 are available at the website. All of the Diversity Forums will be held at Camp Tecumseh. I personally attended the Diversity Forum in fall 2002 and gained a great deal of perspective that I believe has assisted both Purdue University and me personally.
You may have many questions about the content of the Diversity Forums, so the website contains some helpful information. I encourage you to visit with someone on the list of Supporters; each has volunteered to provide additional information if contacted. There are also links to a statement of the Forum's goals, a tentative schedule, and brief resumes of the facilitators. These very interactive Forums have been provided in the College of Engineering for the past 10 years, and Engineering Administration credits the Forums for creating an important competitive difference in their climate and hiring practices.
