5 Alumni Who...

Many graduates of Purdue can't wait to take their freshly-minted degree to chase their dreams far outside the confines of the Purdue campus.  But for others, the appeal of Purdue's many strengths is just too hard to leave behind for long.  Years after earning their diplomas, there are some alumni who have chosen to share their love of research and teaching with a new generation of Purdue students.  The College of Science is lucky enough to have several of these dedicated alumni who are giving back by teaching our students.

In our first installment of "5 Alumni Who..." (based on the university's "5 Students Who..." profiles), meet "5 Alumni Who are Purdue Faculty."

        

Purdue is a university well-known and highly regarded for its programs in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines.  It boasts a variety of top-ranked programs that have always attracted the best and the brightest students.  And even though Purdue can't claim a medical school among its many specialties, that doesn't mean that those who have a dream of practicing medicine can't earn a degree here.  In fact ,there are many Purdue alumni who are practicing physicians, and many of those students earn their undergraduate degrees from the College of Science.

In this installment of "5 Alumni Who...", learn about a few such alumni who chose Purdue for a solid foundation in science and who are now physicians in a variety of subfields, from surgery to psychiatry to pediatrics.  Meet "5 Alumni Who are Healers."
